INTRODUCTION
Harkishan Memorial Public School was established in April 1987 by Sh. Umed Singh Rathee of village-Kishanpura (Rohtak). It was his dream to put the wishes of his grand-father Sh. HARKISHAN JI into reality by starting a co-educational English Medium School.
It is to be made into a good public school which develops in an Indian culture and social environment, but still maintaining the best features of notable and progressive English Medium School functioning on the basis of "Education is for all". Sincere desire is to make this institution where educated West and developing India meet.

It is well known to every individual in the country and rather around the world that COVID-19 pandemic has left an indelible impact on the minds of students and teachers .As a result everybody associated with the education system has been continuously engaged in the innovating a blend between activity based learning and building self-reliant capabilities .During pandemic our teachers have worked tirelessly to educate our young minds by continuously adopting and innovating new teaching techniques in hard times .But now we know that phase is completely over.
In our school we strongly believe that during pandemic times despite all measures, we could not replace the class room teaching where a teacher finds his student right in front of him. So, we at HMPS will take every sincere effort to bridge this gap, however small it may be by following a child centric approach.
Our curriculum& school calendar is very much child centric which leads to the scholastic and co-scholastic achievements of an individual. It is very much in resonance with New Education Policy -2020.which encourages experimental and competency-based learning which ensures proficiency in learning. This helps an individual to deal with real life situations in a better way perform the task abruptly The skills imbibed within the child form an integral part of individual personality which makes our students spiritually, morally, ethically far ahead of the others
In our school we have constant endeavour to infest experimental learning to nurture creativity in the young minds. We provide quality education to our students with personalised attention by a team of well qualified, efficient and dedicated staff members, where the development of each child well monitored by continuous and comprehensive approach. I strongly believe that all Academic achievements would be in vain, if disciplined life, humanism and character is not built up gracefully in our students.
It is undoubtedly clear that to enhance the knowledge, overall development and progress of our young minds, mutual help necessary. In order to execute the same a common platform must exist between the parents and school. This almanac to provide the same required platform, so that parents and teacher can mutually help each other for progress of child.
